If you own an older home and you feel that you are spending too much on your Energy bills, your home most likely needs to be upgraded in some areas. To reduce your utility bills, an evaluation of your home can help.  As a Certified Energy Inspector through CMC Energy Services, we will perform an Energy Audit on your home, to determine where there is wasted Energy.  We will examine, measure, and evaluate the factors that affect energy use in your home.  These factors include size of the home, efficiency of appliances, insulation, draftiness of rooms and windows, and efficiency of heating and cooling systems (HVAC).

We will collect and analyze various data points, outlined in report from CMC, from your home to produce a Tune-uP Report that shows how to reduce the energy used in your home and improve your comfort.  You will be sent a 'link' to your comprehensive report, which explains where the energy is being wasted.  The report then gives you recommendations, such as appliance upgrades, bringing attic and wall insulation up to today's standards, replacement of single pane windows. Also sealing of all windows, doors, and vents to prevent loss of conditioned air.  The report will also provide you with the cost versus length and rate of return on money spent for upgrades.  In most cases what you are saving is greater then the expenditures.
